The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented teamplayer to assist with business development and account management. Responsibilities include:
* Business development: recruiting new properties to join our websites UniversityRooms.com, Monasteries.com and BeachHuts.com, via telephone and email.
* Account Management: onboard and manage properties ensuring their website profiles are up to date; and availability is optimised.
* Customer/vendor support: providing support in response to customer and vendor email queries.
* Marketing support: assisting our PR, Content and Social executive with marketing initiatives.
* Identifying and partnering with 3rd party partners.
* Using our CRM for notes, creating tasks and follow ups.
Qualifications
* Business development / account management experience.
* Fluent in English; and ideally one other European language to a native standard.
* Experience of working to and meeting targets and deadlines.
* Organised with strong attention to detail.
* Basic IT skills.
* Motivated and willing to go the extra mile to get a job done well.
* A positive person who will get on well with our team.
Nice to have:
* Marketing experience.
* Experience in the online travel industry.
