Aufgaben
1. Managing a site team, including subcontractors, suppliers and 3rd parties, including implementation of the health, safety, environmental and quality standards,
2. Develop the design, construction methodology, programme, and cost. Prepare for the delivery of the works, including resources, procurement, consents, and prestart documentation.
3. Manage, supervise, train and mentor the site team to enable them to optimise their work contribution.
4. Review contractual agreements and develop detailed site specific programmes and forecast budgets, assess actual programme and productivity achieved and review weekly, taking action where appropriate, and reporting any changes to the Project Manager and QS department.
5. Be fully conversant with subcontractor’s contract conditions, assist to develop job specific subcontract conditions and manage the subcontractors account with the QS team.
6. Communicate to the Project Manager, QA and QS teams non-conformances and any instructions received from the client / designer / RE’s staff.
7. Keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including any changes / variations, subcontractors’ attendance, and records of work related discussions with Client / Designer / Project Team.
8. Ensure that inspection and test plans, risk assessments and method statements for the control of the works are being implemented and adhered to.
9. Be familiar with, and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.
10. Implement the relevant requirements of the Safety Management System within their area of responsibility.
11. Ensure that the Construction Team, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers receive or have access to copies of the relevant Health and Safety as well as Environmental Policy and are kept informed of relevant developments and issues.
12. Internal liaison with the Project Manager, Design and Engineering Team, QA team and Cost Control.
13. External liaison with HS2, Subcontractors / Suppliers and Stakeholders, close co-ordination with the operations and planning team.
14. Co-ordination of works with Temporary site services team, Co-ordination of works with the any Rail Systems interface personal.
15. Identify review manage MEP Opportunities and efficiencies at each of the assets.
Qualifikationen
16. Experience in a similar level role, responsible for the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health systems including management, procurement, design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
17. A professional qualification or degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Fire / Telecommunications Engineering or related subject
18. Knowledge of construction techniques, sequencing, and best practice.
19. Knowledge and understanding of working to and implementing NEC construction contracts.
20. Capable of working independently and proactively to progress works but also skilled at working collaboratively with other integrated team members and external stakeholders for the overall benefit of the project.
21. Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Document Control Systems, Auto CAD).
22. Excellent communication skills and ability to adjust communication style to suite receiver.
23. Relevant CSCS Card.
