The Role
Our client is looking to recruit a Registered Manager for a brand new solo-occupancy home in Thornton-Cleveleys, designed to support children with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders (EBD). This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in registering and launching a new home. The successful candidate will receive full support in creating the home’s Statement of Purpose, conducting a Locality Risk Assessment, and establishing a clear vision for the home. This is a great opportunity for current Deputy Managers or experienced Team Leaders/Seniors seeking career advancement and a fresh, exciting challenge. It’s an ideal stepping stone into a Registered Manager position with a company that prioritizes safeguarding and high-quality care for children and young people.
About You
Are you a current Registered Manager seeking a fresh start? Are you eager to open a new home and enjoy full autonomy in selecting your own team and running the home as you see fit? Or perhaps you are a highly experienced Deputy Manager with no opportunity for progression in your current role and feel ready to take on the Registered Manager role? If so, we’d love to hear from you and understand your vision. As part of the team registering this new home in Thornton-Cleveleys, you will receive full support through the registration process, help with documentation, the chance to interview and hire your own staff, and the freedom to shape your vision for the home. A strong commitment to safeguarding the young people in our care is essential.
Benefits
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £43k - £46k (depending on experience), with bonuses tied to performance and Ofsted ratings. We prioritize quality care over occupancy rates, and our approach to KPIs focuses on the retention of care staff and feedback from young people, services, and stakeholders rather than just occupancy levels.
