Contribute to the life of the school through effective participation in meetings, InSeT, the annual appraisal programme and school events. Foster the development and continuation of good parent relationships. Work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Science. Teaching and Learning Under the direction of the Head of Science, prepare and set up equipment and materials for science lessons and experiments, ensuring that they are safe, in good working order and fit for purpose [this includes resetting equipment between lessons]. Provide technical support and assistance to the teacher during lessons. Maintain the school's science lab and stock area, ensuring that they are clean, tidy, and well-organised. Maintain accurate records of equipment and materials, ensuring that they are properly stored and disposed of when necessary. Safeguarding & Pastoral Care Take responsibility for, and promote, the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all pupils in your care. Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person. Manage pupils’ behaviour in line with school policy. Value the contributions of all pupils and treat everyone with fairness and respect.
