The Marketing function is right in the middle of this; building our brand, nurturing, engaging and acquiring new audiences, and supporting how customer prosper through retention. As we enter this new era, we need a proven and senior marketing professional to work globally as part of an evolving Digital Marketing function to help build an inbound content marketing strategy, and support the objectives of our various product verticals and regions. For this role, you would jointly own the global inbound (onsite) content marketing strategy with a fellow AU-based colleague, but you would have a primary (but not sole) focus on the UK market with wider consideration for our international school markets. This therefore requires someone to be creative, driven, and skilled in content and inbound marketing, be able to work with multiple colleagues, and act as a partner to counterparts in Product Marketing and in Digital Marketing. You will drive your own optimisation, work hand in hand with SEO colleagues and look to consider the overall experience and journey of visitors to the Tes website(s). You will be someone that quickly gains buy-in across functions, and is able to work closely with Product Managers to truly understand the value and impact of the right content, messaging, and journeys. You will be able to translate needs into impactful onsite content and support all actions with a data-driven approach. You will be someone that takes ownership and is passionate about us building a best-in-class product marketing function that can enable our international growth, support retention, and ultimately allow to offer maximum value to schools. Key Responsibilities: Own and deliver the content marketing plan to support demand generation, lead pipeline, brand awareness & customer marketing. Report to key stakeholders on the successes, failures and learnings of content and approaches, using data to back up your insights and recommendations. Keep informed of the revenue targets and other metrics to enable the most informed prioritisation. Partner with Product Marketing counterparts to identify the key levers to support lead-generation and optimise conversion, as well as understanding feedback of what is and isn’t resonating. Be active in input to go-to-market plans, as well as understanding the value propositions and impact on customers to better support decisions. Work in collaboration with an Austrian-based counterpart to ensure alignment, effectiveness and efficiency, as well as knowledge sharing and idea generation. Build SEO consideration into everything we do by working closely with our SEO colleagues and ensuring your own SEO knowledge is constantly developed. Work collaboratively with fellow marketing professionals to support overall Marketing objectives. Take active ownership of blogs, Advice Hub and other key inbound, SEO and nurture areas of the website, as well as be involved in considering the overall journeys of visitors/users. Support and advise Product Marketing in top-of-funnel content as part of their own campaigns and strategies. Build positive, empathetic, and respectful relationships with all colleagues. Proven experience of devising and driving content marketing strategies. Strong SEO knowledge and ability to put this into action. Proven experience in SEO-rich content, such as blogs, guides, and FAQs. Experienced of working in a diverse team. Experienced in international operations. Proven experienced in connecting your content marketing with revenue goals. Proven experience of finding creative ways to articulate product value and create meaningful and impactful messaging. Proven and demonstrable experience of planning, launching and analysing content marketing campaigns. Strong ability to work with and present to senior stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting data to drive strategic decision-making. Strong focus for the end user, maximising their experience, and understanding their user problems and needs. Hugely personable, diplomatic, pragmatic and agile.
