Pay Rate: £16.65 per hour plus holiday pay Location: University Park, Nottingham Dress Code: Smart Casual The duties will include: You will support the delivery of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) to improve the safety of Cadent’s workforce and its Gas Distribution Network (GDN). Providing ergonomics/human factors expertise to project activities. This could include: Analysing and reporting on a study of GDN operators’ perceptions of possible fatigue interventions Conducting a literature review on the assessment and management of fatigue Developing a website to demonstrate project findings. Supporting reporting, dissemination and exploitation activities. Other duties to support the project delivery as requested by the line manager. Skills and experience required for the role: This role is only open to students studying on a CIEHF-accredited MSc in Human Factors/Ergonomics. Have an excellent command of the English language with written and verbal communication that is clear and easy to understand Have a professional approach towards work relationships and customer engagement Experience and knowledge of: Research design Ethics application Reviewing academic literature Scientific communication Statistical analysis Knowledge of ergonomics/human factors and its application.
