Job Description
If you are a motivated and driven individual looking to take the next step in their career, then we have the perfect role for you as we recruit for a Performance Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team on a permanent basis.
As a member of the wider Marketing team you will own and scale our paid for digital marketing channels, you’ll be optimising what we have as well as identify areas to achieve growth and drive improvements to return on investment. You’ll also play a critical role when we launch our new brand activity.
What you will do:
1. Launch supporting performance channels to align with Brand activity and maximise our brand campaign spend. Working closely with the brand team and media buying agency to ensure the most effective use of budget.
2. Manage and optimise our paid digital marketing channels (PPC, Social, Display, Affiliates)
3. Have a commercial mindset, exploring opportunities to maximise efficiencies
4. Collaborate with our internal creative teams to deliver engaging content and creative for use across all channels
5. Create and own end to end reporting on all performance channels, and represent marketing to report performance in relevant forums.
6. Be comfortable with Google Analytics and how to use it to find opportunities for improvement across all digital channels.
7. Be responsible for managing our budget and media plans, working alongside our digital marketing agency.
8. Work closely with the Senior Content Manager to ensure our post-click journey on is optimised for conversion
9. Manage and collaborate with agencies; briefing them on esure strategy and working to deliver media plans
10. Champion change to improve processes and ways of working, and accelerate our digital maturity
Qualifications
What we would love you to bring:
11. Experience working within the constraints of a regulated environment, particularly Financial Services/Insurance an advantage, as well as using a multi-stage approval process
12. Experience of cookie management and working knowledge of tools such as Segment and Onetrust to track customer events
13. Experience of effectively managing PPC and Social channels (both paid and organic) for both brand building and sales driving initiatives
14. Experience of managing affiliate relationships (Particularly in a post GIPP environment) would be an advantage
15. Ability to manage and pull analysis across multiple digital platforms. Google ads, SA360, Facebook Ads Manager, and interpret this data to continuously improve performance
16. Previous proven experience optimising multiple channels and delivering significant improvements
17. Commercially capable with a strong focus on data and results - A test & learn mentality
18. Previous experience using Google Analytics preferred
19. Strong communicator who is confident internal teams to define new projects and playback results
20. Able to work with legal and compliance teams to esure marketing materials are compliant whilst remaining creative
