Reed/LTA are seeking an experienced Reception Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in the Preston area full time. This role involves taking full responsibility for a reception class, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. The position starts on January 13th and continues until the April half term.
Pay will be from £162.31 to £207.38 depending on experience.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for reception-aged children.
* Assess and record children’s progress, and prepare them for the next stages of their educational journey.
* Create a vibrant, organised, and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress and any concerns.
* Participate in school meetings and events.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and experiences for students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must have completed their Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction.
* Proven experience as a Reception Teacher or in a similar teaching role.
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Good organisational and time-management skills.
* Passion for working with young children and commitment to education.
