Maintenance Team Leader -Mechanical
Indaver leads the fieldin sustainable waste management in Europe. We deliver high-quality,cost-effective services in the municipal, industrial and specialisthazardous waste markets. We currently offer Total Waste Managementand Waste-to-Energy solutions in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany,France, Portugal, the UK and Ireland.
Currently,in Essex, Indaver is constructing the RivenhallFacility, which will process circa 595,000t of residual wasteper annum and produce electricity to power in the region of, 60,000homes. Indaver is now hiring 65 specialist personnel to maintainand operate this large scale processplant.
Maintenance TeamLeader – Mechanical will be responsible for theexecution of all front line mechanical maintenance activitiesacross all of the process, building and site systems which comprisethe Rivenhall facility. As such, they will coordinate and planall mechanical activities in accordance with the operationalrequirements in order to drive compliance and ensure high levels ofoperationalavailability.
Thisposition will also be responsible for the management of a smallteam of maintenance technicians, ensuring ongoing development andtraining needs are met.

Role
* Allworks are executed in accordance with Indaver’s Safe System of Workand the protection of people, plant and the environment are at thecore of every activity
* Provide visibleleadership in all activities and ensure that all personnel carryingout maintenance activities within the facility are appropriatelytrained and competent to operate with the Indaver’s Integrated SafeSystem of Work
* Maintenance of the facilityusing best Indaver/Industry practices in compliance with allrelevant environmental, legal, license and internalnorms
* Proactive delivery of maintenanceservices to the facility
* Coordination andexecution of all preventive and predictive maintenance activitiesacross the facility
* Identification ofoperational improvement projects that simplify, standardise orimprove the operability, maintainability and/or compliance of thefacility
* Attention to details and doing thingsright, first time, every time
* Always be on thelook out for alternative methods of working that make it improvessafety, quality and/or efficiency.
* Be aware theimpact of maintenance activities and the way they are executedimpact the operational budget for thefacility
Experiencerequired
* HNC/HND orwith significant experience gained in a maintenance, constructionand/or engineering services environment
* Lowerqualifications will be considered when supported by significantdirectly applicable experience.
* Provenmaintenance experience within a complex operational environment(Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and IndustrialProcess)
* Minimum 5 years of relevantexperience, 2 of which should have incorporated leading smallworkgroups.
* Knowledge of SAP would be anadvantage, but not essential as training will beprovided
* Knowledge and experience of complexintegrated plant and equipment commonly found within continuousprocess industries such as, power generation, cement industry andpetrochemicals. Specific Furnace/Boiler and/or rotating equipmentexperience a distinct advantage
* Must beeligible to work in the UK as no visa sponsorship will be offeredfor thisposition
