Position: Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire Hours: 9:00 am – 16:00 pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Salary: £85- £90/Day As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at our SEN school in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, you’ll be a key part of our students’ journey helping them grow, learn, and build confidence. You’ll provide personalised support, making a real difference in their academic, social, and emotional development every day. Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant responsibilities will include: Provide specialist support to students with autism and other complex needs to help them achieve their full potential. Assist in implementing Personalised Learning Outcomes (PLOs), behaviour support profiles, risk assessments, and communication plans. Use non-confrontational and non-directive approaches to support students effectively. Help students access the curriculum by adapting materials and resources to meet individual needs. Maintain daily records of student progress, contributing to individual assessments and reviews. Promote best practice safeguarding arrangements and ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Support students with personal care, therapy sessions, and daily routines, as required.
