We are seeking an Early Careers Lead to support us in creating opportunities and development pathways for the next generation of Royal Mail talent. As Early Careers Lead, you will partner across the organisation to create early career products that enable the organisation to grow new skills and inject new talent across all key functions. Working as part of the Talent CoE, reporting to the Head of Talent Management, you will lead a team of Early Careers Managers to embed and continuously improve the early career portfolio to meet business needs, now and in the future. About the role Partnering across the organisation to understand and identify where an early career product could solve business talent needs Leading a team of Early Career Managers to effectively partner business leaders and key stakeholders, offering subject matter expertise and co-creating effective talent solutions Leading the cyclical recruitment, onboarding and development, activity across early career programmes from apprenticeships through to graduates Developing a programme of bespoke development and engagement activities to centrally enhance the experience of colleagues on early career programmes, building their core skills to succeed in the workplace Utilising a large scale apprenticeship levy fund to embed apprenticeship opportunities into early career programmes, enhancing the development we can offer to new talent Supporting the development of bespoke attraction and media strategies to attract the best possible talent Leading outreach activity to develop active applicant pipelines through schools engagement, insight events and strategic work experience activity Measuring and actively communicating the impact of early career products and solutions Staying connected and bringing market trends and insights into the organisation to continually evolve early careers strategy About You You are a proven early careers professional with experience of managing a range of talent solutions. You have a track record of delivering against a large portfolio and are passionate about creating new opportunities for early career talent. You understand the needs of early career individuals and can translate this into a great employee experience. Strong stakeholder management experience, able to engage and influence colleagues at different levels to secure maximum buy-in and support for early career portfolio Demonstrable evidence of leading the development and ongoing management of early career products A solid understanding of apprenticeships including levy funding and the apprenticeship standards available Experience in building product-type solutions and evidence of marketing internal products to a range of different stakeholders A strong understanding of the current early careers landscape A proven ability to translate ideas and insights into tangible, measurable actions Project management skills to enable management of multiple projects to time Excellent business acumen, problem framing, problem solving and analytical skills.
