An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide specialist physiotherapy intervention in Rheumatology Outpatient clinics within Perth Royal infirmary. This role will include clinical lead responsibilities for Rheumatology Physiotherapy Services in P&K.
Candidates should have an understanding/knowledge base of advice on the expected benefits and limitations of different physiotherapy interventions used in managing rheumatology and musculoskeletal conditions, providing impartial information and advice on the advantages and disadvantages of specific interventions in the context of other management options and a wider health promotion role.
Applicants should have relevant experience working as a Musculoskeletal/Rheumatology Physiotherapist within physical rehabilitation services as well as being able to demonstrate an understanding of the musculoskeletal components of the more commonly seen inflammatory conditions and be able to explain these to patients and carers.
