We're looking for a self-motivated Full Stack Developer to join our web development team. Based at our HQ in Dartford, you'll be actively managing web development for projects across the Group, from building simple customer-facing websites to developing complex internal web solutions. You’ll need to specialise in Adobe Commerce (M2), to enhance our eCommerce platform, EDGE. Solutions you maintain and create should use best practice coding and comply with the latest technical development standards. You'll need a strong knowledge of PHP especially, and be used to delivering quality code to tight deadlines as part of a fast-paced team. You'll work closely with the Head of IT and Technical in planning and structuring development plans and roadmaps and interact with other departments when scoping projects. You will be involved in every stage of the development lifecycle from scoping and elaboration to development and testing. Requirements: You have proven experience with Adobe Commerce (M2) and managing complex eCommerce sites You have experience in developing stable web solutions with clean, maintainable, cross-browser code You are proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a strong working knowledge of libraries and frameworks You have experience setting up and maintaining Linux (Apache & nginx) servers, and good knowledge of cPanel, Plesk, and PHP management and upgrading You are sensitive of accessibility and security compliance, and aware of the latest updates, trends and issues in the industry You are competent with setting up and using agile methodology – while being flexible and driven by change, in a fast-paced commercial environment Experience and proficiency using cloud-based project management apps to understand project requirements and to work with other team members, and versioning software like Git You are proactive when working independently, as well as being a positive team player You have a strong commercial understanding of business processes, marketing and sales You possess good communication skills and the ability to draft and visually communicate UI design to relevant parties Desirable: Understanding of PHP libraries including Laravel, Symfony, etc. Knowledge of automated build processes and experience in setting up development infrastructure Strong design background with a focus on User Interaction and Experience RESTful APIs experience T-SQL experience You will be based at our HQ in Dartford, in the prestigious Crossways Business Park.
