We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Finance team.
This is a specialist role which supports the Treasury & Structured Finance Manager in delivering the company's successful Structured Finance Programme, providing a secure and diverse funding strategy that supports the company's growth ambitions.
You will play a key part in the coordination of all internal and external activities in relation to any new and existing structured finance initiatives managing task allocation, transaction modelling, legal document review and regular internal and head office communication.
About the role:
* Developing the capital structure for new Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) transactions, ensuring documentation accurately reflects the structure and transactions are structured cost-effectively.
* Support technical modelling for ABS transactions, including trigger level calibration, portfolio development forecasts, and performance predictions using internal models.
* Develop and manage loss, cash flow, interest compensation, and Electric Vehicle/Battery Electric Vehicle (EV/BEV) forecasts, providing explanations and recommendations for trends and developments.
* Assist with credit rating agency processes by preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and distributing data packs, such as vintage loss curves and delinquency reports. Communicate with business areas to provide further details and explanations to rating agencies, banks, and investors.
* Update and validate the headroom model to maintain sufficient assets for existing ABS transactions. This model incorporates new business assumptions, amortization and prepayment assumptions, and validation of the managed book. Summarize findings for the executive board.
* Ensure consistency in ABS transaction documentation, internal deal comparisons, and communications by comparing and standardizing documentation, updating question logs, and driving necessary changes.
* Investigate and respond to inquiries from investors, banks, and rating agencies, providing detailed analyses and explanations both verbally and in writing.
* Coordinate responses to Know Your Customer (KYC) requests from investors, banks, and suppliers with relevant internal stakeholders.
About you:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
* Advanced MS Access and Excel skills
* Demonstrable, excellent analytical approach supported by strong statistical skills
* Experience of managing relationships with multiple stakeholders
* A strong team player with good interpersonal skills
* Motivated by new challenges and a willingness to take ownership of tasks with varying degrees of complexity
* A proactive approach with the ability to react appropriately and effectively to changing circumstances and demands
* Ability to work flexibly under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines
