About the job
We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Support Assistant to join our Property and Facilities Team. We are looking for a highly motivated person who wants to provide excellent support to our team members and to the community we serve. You will be involved in the management of the Council’s commercial and community property portfolio, supporting in the day to day management with a wide variety of activities including leases, licences, invoicing and utility connections. You will also provide day to day contact with business tenants and contractors to respond to repairs and support officers with procurement and contract management. Applications from those experienced are welcome or a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
The Property Team is based in Castle House, Newcastle and you will also need a current valid driving licence and access to a vehicle that you are prepared to use for work purposes. This is a part time post and the days/times can be discussed to suit the applicant and business needs.
