In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

Examples of the skills, knowledge, and experiences you need to lead and deliver value at this level include but are not limited to:
1. Provide management over a diverse portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit and assurance service, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work.
2. Achieve team and individual budgets and business plan/ performance objectives.
3. Manage project financials, including budgets, WIPS, timely billing and collection and variance recognition.
4. Monitor, mentor and train the auditing staff on PwC methodology
5. Carry out practice management activities e.g. resourcing client billing etc.
6. Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
7. Develop skills outside your comfort zone, and encourage others to do the same.
8. Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
9. Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
Minimum years experience required
10. Minimum 2 - 3 years supervisory level experience in an external audit environment
