Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Pursuit Engagements:
* Assist the Sales team in proposal creation, project planning, and profitability and opportunity reviews.
Project Oversight:
* Ensure overall project financial profitability, scope adherence, schedule maintenance, and quality standards.
* Follow Puffer-Sweiven's project management processes to ensure project success and consistency.
Subcontractor Management:
* Oversee subcontractors to ensure they meet project requirements and company standards.
Project Types:
* Manage projects related to:
o Data Management and Analytics to transform data for improved decision-making.
o Control System Alarm Management and High-Performance Human-Machine Interface (HPHMI) projects to reduce operator error.
o Operator Training Systems for training programs and support virtual commissioning of control systems.
o Cybersecurity projects for securing Operational Technology (OT) systems.
o Data Management and Asset Performance Management Services to help model complex systems and assess reliability and performance.
Qualifications:
Education/Knowledge:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field of study and/or equivalent years of education and experience.
* Familiarity with control systems, alarm management and operator training systems
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) a plus
Experience/Skills:
* 5+ years of experience with engineering, design, specification, implementation, commissioning and startup of computer-based automation systems and instrumentation typical to the process and manufacturing industries.
* 3+ years of Project Management experience, including proficiencies in project execution standards and strategies
* Ability to read P&IDs
* Proficient in use of common computer software programs: Microsoft Office, Visio and Project primarily
