The Role
At Audit Wales, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. As a People Partner (Operations), you’ll provide both a hands-on generalist HR service and give strategic input to workforce development and planning at Audit Wales. Your work will help our operational HR function continue to provide a seamless, consistent and robust service directly to our key stakeholders across the organisation. You will support our Line Managers and employees, be involved in cross-functional projects, and provide constructive challenge on HR matters across the organisation.
The Team
We’re a dynamic and inclusive team, committed to excellence and continuous improvement. Even though we are a small team, we cover a range of people and payroll responsibilities and are results-focused. We are based both at home and at our central Cardiff office and work in a flexible way, our organisation having achieved top 10 status in the Working Families benchmarking for the last two consecutive years. We complement and support each other to achieve our team and organisational goals, focusing on providing a high-quality professional service.
You
You will be an experienced, resilient and proactive Partner, qualified to CIPD Level 7 who has an excellent understanding of all areas of HR policy, legislative requirements, and best practice. You will be experienced in dealing with casework and supporting managers on all people-related matters. We use iTrent as our central HRIS, and while by no means essential, any knowledge of this system will be beneficial. You will also have a high level of communication skills and be able to work well both within a team and across an organisation, having the ability to build and maintain good relationships with internal stakeholders. You will be curious and keen to learn and develop yourself and others.
