Are you an experienced leader in children's residential care looking for your next challenge?
We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to oversee a specialist children's home, providing high-quality care and support for children aged 5-17 with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, trauma, and physical disabilities.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and leadership within the home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing a team to provide a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment
* Ensuring the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
* Overseeing care plans, safeguarding procedures, and daily operations
* Supporting children with their education, personal development, and well-being
* Managing budgets, recruitment, and staff development to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce
* Driving continuous improvement to enhance the home's overall performance and outcomes for children
About You:
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with a child-centred approach
* A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and care planning
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the children and home
* A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
