We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, determined and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic Team here at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
The post holder will provide specialist advice, assessment and treatments to a range of orthopaedic patients. Excellent problem solving and communication skills are essential.

With the aim of up-skilling staff, supervision, support and training will be part of your role.
The Therapy service at CTMUHB is an expanding, forward thinking and highly regarded service and this post offers excellent personal and professional development opportunities within an established and supportive team.

Main duties of the job
1. To provide a high standard of physiotherapy service to trauma and orthopedic patients; using best current evidence based clinical management.
2. To work with consultants and other health care professionals, committed to enhancing the services and provisions of others.
3. To work within a variety of settings, to plan and organise own caseload, balancing other patient related and professional demands in order that the physiotherapy case load meets the University Health Board objectives.

Person Specification
Experience
* To have gained full experience within the core Band 5 rotations, including respiratory/critical care, trauma, orthopaedics, neurology, general medicine, MSK outpatients
* Recent completion of validated clinical educator's course
Skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Evidence of attendance on appropriate courses to enhance specialist T&O, MSK knowledge and skills
Knowledge
* Knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards (national and local)
* NICE guidelines relevant to area of work
