What the Job Involves The primary responsibility of the Fleet Workshop Assistant is to maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the fleet workshop and vehicles. This includes supporting drivers in vehicle maintenance, maintaining workshop equipment, washing and preparing vehicles for service, ensuring a clean and tidy work environment, assisting technicians, delivering and collecting vehicle parts, and managing internal stock. You are also expected to actively participate in health and safety practices and continually undergo training and assessments relevant to job duties. Skills Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills Full EU driving license (category C) and LGV license Valid Driver CPC Card Experience in manual work and safe manual handling Understanding of safe working procedures and health and safety legislation Good geographic knowledge of Conwy County Problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
