We’re looking for a talented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our small team at Mind, Money & Business and help us attract the best candidates as we grow Role: If you’ve developed your recruiting skills and are wanting to join a small tight-knight team to build a world-class business with the best employees, our Talent Acquisition Specialist role could be a perfect fit. Responsibilities: Responsible for filling various positions for Mind, Money & Business & our clients. Develop interview processes per role (ie. application knock-out questions, interview questions, and interview stages.) Attract applicants by creating enticing job descriptions and frameworks that attract top talent to apply, and placing job advertisements. Continuously identify new talent pools through sourcing and head-hunting efforts, utilising LinkedIn and additional sourcing tools/strategies. Conducting initial phone calls, and video screening interviews and with a high degree of accuracy identify if they are a fit or not both in skill and culture fit. Conduct offer calls and send out written job offers. Complete & document all reference checks. Improve company's attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices we can deploy. Coordinate with Marketing to obtain compelling ad copy for each position and social media posts. Maintain and accurately file information on applicants and newly hired employees. Execute ad-hoc requests as needed and communicated by team. Bonus: HR experience is a bonus as you'll be responsible for HR duties to assist our employees within our business. Results: All applicants receive timely and enthusiastic communications regarding the status of their application. A high quality of employees are hired that maintain our values and protect our culture. The average time to fill positions is 35 days from the job posting date (barring any extenuating circumstances) An average of 20% of roles filled are through sourcing and head hunting efforts. All new positions are posted within 24 hours once approved. All written job offers are sent out within 24 hours of verbal acceptance. Reference checks are conducted for all final candidates after the verbal job offer. All applications are properly screened and noted with status updates. Provide recommendations about the hiring process so that we can continue to build a more efficient and effective recruiting machine. Hiring KPIs, like time to fill, cost to hire, and quality of hire, are monitored and discussed when appropriate. Daily and weekly updates on open positions are provided to the CEO & relevant team, as needed. Complete projects as requested to assist in the building of the world-class recruiting machine. Weekly Report is filled out and delivered to CEO by Friday EOD each week. Requirements: 4 years of experience as a recruiter. Experience with head-hunting and sourcing candidates (not just relying on applicants to apply). Experience hiring director-level and above talent. Implement sourcing strategies to successfully fill positions with top talent. Experience managing 5-10 requisitions at any given time. Achieved an average time to fill is 40 days or less. Experience tracking KPIs such as time to fill; cost to fill, & quality of hire. Ability to decipher both skill and culture fit on behalf of the company. Experience improving the hiring process by executing strategic projects. Excellent interpersonal skills; Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong decision-making skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Location: Office days in Milton Keynes: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience Free on-site parking Company pension Fun company culture Availability: Monday - Friday, 9am–5:30pm Must be flexible and able to work additional hours, weekends before workshop events and public holidays if the situation warrants it.
