Hourly Rate: £13.48 + shift premium
What you’ll do:
* Responsible for day-to-day analysis and consequent actions aiming to improve process stability.
* Work with the team (Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Engineering) to ensure all products are produced to the defined specifications.
* Perform regular housekeeping activities to ensure longevity of equipment, including listening and performing visual checks so that any abnormal issues are detected and addressed and report equipment failure.
* Offload palettes, replenish raw materials, refill carriages, and minimise sources of waste during routine tasks.
What you’ll bring:
* Relevant work experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
* Good understanding of computer systems such as SAP.
* Positive outlook with a can-do attitude.
* Approachable and able to work in a team or be self-motivated to work alone.
It would be an advantage if you also have:
* Quality testing and system experience.
* Operational excellence (continuous improvement – white belt training).
* Experience of shift work including working nights and 12-hour shifts.
* NVQ level 2 Manufacturing Operations.
* FLT Counterbalance license.
