Communications and Engagement Manager (Student Education and Experience)

Salary: £39,105 to £46,485 per annum

This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a creative communications professional, able to build and deliver audience-centered strategic plans that inform, engage and connect colleagues? Would you be motivated and inspired by contributing to an outstanding student experience at one of the UK’s largest higher education institutions?
You will plan, coordinate and evaluate communications and engagement activity across our Student Education and Experience directorates – a family of student-related services passionate about delivering continuously-improving support to students and colleagues.
Using your excellent communications planning, writing and editing skills, and an ability to assimilate and simplify complex information you will lead on creating compelling content via a range of dynamic communication and engagement channels.
As an expert at building relationships at all levels you will use your skills and abilities to engage with colleagues, supporting them with change and other strategically important activities.
Teamwork is key to our success. So, you will work closely with your communications and engagement peers, and colleagues at all levels in the University who share your commitment to supporting every student to make the most of their time at Leeds and go on to succeed in their chosen career.
