Client Associate Location: Leicester (Hybrid) Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: up to £38k Reed Financial Services are seeking a Client Associate with expertise in Small Self-Administered Schemes (SSAS) to join a national firm’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive cradle-to-grave administration, delivering exceptional technical and customer service outcomes. Day-to-day of the role: Engage with clients and their advisers to deliver optimal customer outcomes. Handle retirement benefits calculations and payments. Process contributions and transfers into schemes. Manage investment portfolio transactions. Conduct scheme asset valuations and member fund share calculations. Oversee property and land transactions, ensuring compliance with internal procedures. Monitor rent and loan repayments, addressing arrears following internal processes. Administer loans to parties, maintaining credit control. Manage scheme bank accounts, ensuring sufficient liquidity. Establish new schemes or transition schemes from other operators. Prepare trust deeds for changes in Trustees and Employers, and scheme rule amendments. Register schemes with relevant authorities and submit required returns and reports. Calculate and disburse death benefits. Facilitate full and partial transfers out and takeovers. Prepare review packs for client meetings and attend Trustee meetings as needed. Address any additional administration or queries that arise. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in SSAS administration and managing a client portfolio. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Clear and concise communication skills at all levels. A positive attitude towards client care. Proactive, enthusiastic, and driven approach.
