Job Description
Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant with expertise in airway management and tracheostomy care? We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about providing personalised care and support to our service user.

By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a young toddler in Sedgley. She is a delightful 2-year-old who loves sensory play, musical toys, light up toys, and listening to her Toni box. She also enjoys watching YouTube, Disney films, and going on outdoor walks.
We are looking for committed staff to support her overnight on a 1:1 basis. Upon arrival of the night team, her bedtime routine will have been carried out and she will be settled down for sleep with her favourite teddy.
Your role? To manage her clinical interventions, maintain her airway, meet her personal care needs, and carry out regular observations and repositioning. You will also provide comfort, reassurance, and lots of cuddles should she wake throughout the night.
It is essential that you have proven tracheostomy management skills, specifically with children. This isn't just a job – it's a chance to have a significant impact on a young person's life.
Please note, our service user’s parents have specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
