An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Music Therapist to join a new collaborative venture between Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) and Anglia Ruskin University (ARU). This role offers the chance to work both clinically within CUH's Paediatric Inpatient and Outpatient Services and as a researcher at the Cambridge Institute for Music Therapy Research (CIMTR) at ARU.
You will join the existing music therapy service at CUH in providing music therapy to children and families, and in addition will contribute to research that explores the impact of music therapy on health and well-being. You will also work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers to ensure the highest standard of care and evidence-based practice.
Main duties of the job
To participate in the delivery of our CUH Paediatric Music Therapy Service, managing a caseload of clients and delivering music therapy with Paediatric Outpatients and Inpatients, along with a comprehensive research programme partnership with ARU.
