About the Role
Halr Tech Group is working with a leading client in the professional services sector to hire a dedicated and analytical Data Analyst for a full-time, onsite position in Central London. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions and support business performance through actionable insights.
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data from various sources to produce meaningful reports, dashboards, and recommendations. Your work will support stakeholders across operations, finance, marketing, and product teams, contributing directly to strategic planning and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect, cleanse, and analyse structured and unstructured data to ensure accuracy and relevance
* Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
* Identify key trends, anomalies, and patterns to support business strategy and forecasting
* Collaborate with internal teams to define KPIs, reporting needs, and business goals
* Prepare data for regular reporting cycles and support ad hoc analysis requests
* Document data processes and contribute to improvements in data quality and accessibility
* Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in a data analysis role within a business, consultancy, or corporate environment
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
* Proficient in Excel and at least one visualisation tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
* Solid understanding of data management, KPIs, and reporting methodologies
* Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Clear communication skills and ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
Desirable
* Experience working with large data sets or cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)
* Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation
* Understanding of GDPR and data governance principles
* Familiarity with business operations in finance, marketing, or customer analytics
