Role Overview: As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you will provide essential support to children in a residential setting, assisting with their daily activities and personal care needs. You will play a key role in ensuring that children receive the highest standard of care, nurturing their well-being, and promoting a sense of independence and happiness. Working closely with our care team, you will be instrumental in delivering personalized care plans and supporting children with their social, emotional, and physical needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care for children, including assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, ensuring their dignity and comfort. Support children with learning and development activities, including education, play, and social interaction, both within the care home and in the community. Promote the emotional well-being of children, offering encouragement, comfort, and guidance. Monitor and report any changes in a child’s physical health, emotional state, or behavior to the senior care team. Assist with medication administration and help maintain accurate care records. Foster a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where children feel secure and valued. Work collaboratively with parents, social workers, and other professionals to implement and review care plans.
