A primary school in the BL3 area is currently looking to recruit two professional and committed individuals for the role of SEN Support Assistants to help create engaging educational experiences for children in EYFS. The school prides itself on building strong relationships built on trust, with both parents and pupils alike. These roles would be 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday, starting after the Easter break, term-time only, until the end of the academic year (July 2025). Relevant education-based qualifications (level 2/3 education-based qualification) are preferred but not essential.
Within these roles, you will be expected to support pupils with a range of special educational needs; encourage positive behaviour; and work together with other SEN Support Assistants and class teachers. You will be involved in supporting the children accessing the curriculum and carrying out relevant observations.
If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, whether you have prior experience supporting individuals with SEN in a classroom setting or alternative environment, have personal experience supporting individuals with SEN, or you are a recent graduate looking for experience in a specialist role, then this may be the perfect role for you!
If you are looking for professional development in education and are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical and fulfilling way, the EYFS SEN Support Assistant role may be perfect for you!
Please apply and attach your CV if you think this is the role for you. We are very much looking forward to hearing from you!
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
