This is an exciting time to join the Oxford PV journey, as we are entering the commercial market. As Marketing Assistant you will need to be highly pro-active and hands-on supporting the Marcomms department delivering its marketing and PR campaigns, managing and organising the work with external agencies, and other departments, and making sure the Marcomms activities are aligned and delivered at the most efficient level.
What will you be doing?
The Marketing Assistant will be pivotal in ensuring efficiency and implementing day-to-day management systems that will support the team in achieving their goals. You will be working closely with our Head of Sustainability and Government Affairs, setting efficient ways of working and ensuring inter and cross departmental alignment.
You will be responsible for:
* Handling daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the marketing department.
* Assisting in organizing and executing marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional media.
* Using marketing analytics tools to track and report on campaign performance.
* Assisting in planning and executing promotional events.
* Communicating with the marketing department members and other departments to ensure alignment and transparency on all departmental activities.
* Day-to-day management of Oxford external PR agencies.
What will you need to succeed in the role?
Essential skills:
* A bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience in a similar marketing role.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, marketing software (e.g., CRM tools, Google Analytics), and social media platforms.
* Ability to analyse data and generate insights.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Ability to contribute creative ideas for campaigns and content, as well as creating marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, and social media content.
* Ability to work well within a team.
* Attention to detail in all tasks.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
* Experience using project management tools.
This role is based in the UK. Travelling might be required to our other sites.
