Who are Baxi Packaged Solutions: BPS creates bespoke designs to meet the clients’ requirements and programmes. The designs maximise the system efficiencies and comply with industry regulations. Through our network of leading supply partners, we source plant equipment specific to client requirements, we fabricate modular solutions tailored to client requirements and provide full delivery if required, a complete integration service. BPS have can offer an in-house fabrication facility and the ability to deliver any pipe work and steel work requirements, utilising our state of the art CAD design service. The Role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the 3D Designer will provide mechanical design input for the Operational & Commercial teams. Producing mechanical schematics and layouts to meet customers system specifications and additional schematics and assembly drawings to ISO standards that are used as for manufacturing and operational requirements. You will have opportunity to support continued improvements to both labour and materials efficiency’s across the PPS portfolio and support the manufacturing team with BOM and Design related issues to meet the required build schedule across all projects. 3D Design Engineer will offer: Design input in support of future enquires and tenders. Produce schematic/assembly drawings within AutoCad 2D/3D Compile and structure BOM(s) to support procurement activities. Ensure System design & drawings adhere to any customer URS (User Requirement Specifications). Provide feedback and rectify engineering drawings & bill of material errors. Attend Production and Design meetings as and when required. Liaise and work with internal Project Managers, and the manufacturing department Assist with meetings and communications with clients, designers, consultants etc. Knowledge, skills and experience required: Engineering/Design Degree level preferred HVAC, M&E design experience Mechanical & Piping CAD knowledge Proven Track Record in the design of multi-functional heating systems. 3D CAD software experience is vital for this role Background in Building Services and Mechanical Engineering, including structural drawings Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Be a great team player, alongside having excellent interpersonal skills We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, capable of working both individually and within a team, organised, and someone who has an excellent eye for detail.
