This position is responsible for overseeing the efficient and organised movement of pallets and goods within the distribution centre. The Pallet Marshal ensures that pallets are properly loaded, unloaded, and positioned to optimise merchandise inspection operations while adhering to safety standards.

What you'll be doing
* Arrange and manage pallets in designated areas to facilitate the QC inspection process.
* Maintain accurate records of pallet quantities and boxes, locations, and movements in the warehouse management system.
* Prepare PO’s on pallets to ensure they are efficiently presented to intake auditors ahead of inspection activity.
* Monitor and optimise pallet storage space to ensure efficient utilisation of the intake audit holding area.
* Collaborate with forklift operators, warehouse supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth pallet movement and timely delivery to the QC area.
* In the case of an RTM, ensure that the correct number of cartons/quantity is collated and ready for supplier collection/disposal.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling and manoeuvring pallets; report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
* Identify opportunities for process enhancement, such as pallet handling techniques, storage layouts, or equipment utilisation.
About you
* Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with pallet management responsibilities preferable.
* Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and technology for tracking and recording pallet movements.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate pallet counts and proper placement.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and provide clear instructions.
* Knowledge of safety procedures related to pallet handling and warehouse operations.
* Physical stamina and ability to lift, manoeuvre, and stack pallets weighing up to a specified limit.
