Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in providing high-quality resident care and ensuring the well-being of the residents.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for the assessment and planning of resident needs, delivery of skilled procedures, medication administration, and documentation in accordance with quality management, legislative requirements, and Sienna Senior Living standards.
How You’ll Succeed:
1. Provide Resident Care and Services:
o Ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
o Collaborate with residents and their decision-makers regarding care needs and preferences.
o Create, develop, and evaluate care plans with residents.
2. Provide Supervision, Assistance & Oversight:
o Demonstrate knowledge of all equipment used in nursing care delivery.
o Assist in developing and implementing policies reflecting the community's philosophy.
o Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' needs.
3. Provide Leadership and Guidance:
o Act as a role model for nursing team members, adhering to professional guidelines.
o Participate in or deliver education and training to other team members.
o Share knowledge and support educational programs.
Who You Are:
* Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
* Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
* Knowledgeable in nursing processes and current trends in geriatric care.
* Compassionate and dedicated to supporting seniors.
* Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
* Demonstrated administrative and computer skills.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to set priorities and organize work based on patient needs.
* Proficiency in both French and English is an asset.
