The Post: Based in the Titan Building, Holytown, NHS Scotland Counter Fraud Services (CFS) has the remit to protect NHS Scotland from fraud and other financial crime. In achieving this, CFS provides a comprehensive, integrated and professional service to NHS Scotland through the prevention, detection and investigation of suspected fraud. We are seeking a suitably experienced individual to join our intelligence team. This appointment will be on a permanent basis. You will report to the National Counter Fraud Manager - Detection, and will manage an effective Intelligence Team which receives, analyses, prioritises and progresses allegations of financial crime, developing a robust and effective intelligence capability to ensure that CFS is intelligence-led, contributing to the promotion of an anti-fraud culture. You will also undertake routine horizon-scanning to identify emerging trends. You will manage the team in the identifying, gathering, evaluation, collation, analysis and dissemination of all processed information, including the provision of general support to the investigation and prevention teams, relating to offences and risks which result in a health impact and/or financial loss to NHS Scotland. The Candidate: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme/Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who have lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency. Location and Working Pattern: Titan Building, Holytown. Currently hybrid working. Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
