We are looking for a creative and driven Administration Manager to help us reimagine public services for the 21st century. Your role and responsibilities
1. Line management and development of the small and friendly Administration Business Support team, currently 3 team members.
2. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-agency team alongside police and health colleagues, supporting with administrative duties ensuring operations run smoothly.
3. Some of the tasks you could be doing include: budget monitoring and forecasting, producing ad hoc data obtained from a data dashboard, being the go-to person for a number of queries, and supporting the recruitment within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
4. You will be able to join strategic and operational meetings to take notes which will give you a real insight into the work completed in MASH to safeguard children at risk of harm.
5. Overseeing the Operation Encompass work completed in MASH and should be prepared to process sensitive and emotive information. Operation Encompass is a Police and education early information safeguarding partnership enabling schools to offer immediate support to children experiencing domestic abuse.
6. No two days will be the same and we are a team continuously learning.
7. While you may not currently have the skills above, we are looking for someone who is resourceful and has the confidence to reach out and learn when they do not know the answer.
You will need
1. Organisational skills, basic knowledge of Excel and Microsoft packages.
2. Excellent leadership skills for the development of staff.
3. A positive attitude in a busy office environment.
The team
1. We are part of a wider MASH team comprising of Consultant Social Workers, Social Workers, and MASH Practitioners. Alongside our Suffolk County Council (SCC) colleagues, we share our space with Partner agencies.
2. We work from the office 2 days of the working week and are passionate about flexible working. This role would support a person who requires flexibility.
