Our client is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a temporary basis. The role is based in Lincoln and involves working on several sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and administering contracts, primarily under NEC and JCT forms
Overseeing post-contract duties including CVR and reporting
Handling contract administration and change control processes
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Communicating effectively with project teams and external parties
Utilising strong Excel skills to manage project data and financials
Ensuring compliance with all relevant project guidelines and standards
Providing confident and competent quantity surveying expertise on-site
Job Requirements:
Experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within the water sector
Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC and JCT contracts
Proficiency in post-contract activities including CVR and reporting
Excellent contract administration and change control skills
Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively
Advanced Excel skills for data management and financial reporting
Confidence and competence in on-site surveying duties
Flexibility to be site-based for a minimum of 3 days per week
