Salary of the HGV Shift Supervisor / HGV Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Engineer Supervisor / HGV Foreman / HGV Workshop Charge Hand / Mobile HGV Technician: £51,000 Basic Salary plus Overtime and a Van You will be provided with a company van, fuel card, expense card, mobile phone, tablet and full workwear / uniform

Hours of the HGV Shift Supervisor / HGV Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Engineer Supervisor / HGV Foreman / HGV Workshop Charge Hand / Mobile HGV Technician: 06:00am - 18:00pm doing a 4 on 3 off shift rotated every 3 months. 1) Wednesday - Saturday 2) Sunday - Wednesday

My Client, a commercial Vehicle repairer, are looking for a dedicated, loyal and knowledgeable HGV Shift Supervisor / HGV Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Engineer Supervisor / HGV Foreman / HGV Workshop Charge Hand / Mobile HGV Technician in the Queenborough Kent area. You will be given a van in this role so travel wont be so bad if you are a little further away.
The HGV Shift Supervisor / HGV Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Engineer Supervisor / HGV Foreman / HGV Workshop Charge Hand / Mobile HGV Technician will be able to demonstrate:

Main duties of the HGV Shift Supervisor / HGV Workshop Supervisor / Fleet Engineer Supervisor / HGV Foreman / HGV Workshop Charge Hand / Mobile HGV Technician:
·Managing a Team of Commercial Vehicle Technicians ·Delegate daily workload to mobile and workshop staff ·To work closely with the Managers and Director and Support where needed. ·To lead by example and manage a Team whilst promoting all the Company Values. ·Liaising with staff to manage the daily planning of vehicles in the Workshop ensuring full utilisation of time available. ·Assist on service and repair of commercial vehicles (semi productive role) ·Work with the Administrator to ensure smooth invoicing and paperwork flows. ·Work closely with the Director to implement improvements and grow the business ·Ensuring Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times. ·Monitoring utilisation, productivity and idle time to ensure internal KPI’s are met. ·Ensuring the relationship other staff and Workshop Controller is developed to lead the continual improvement of customer demand and service levels. ·Strengthening and developing long term customer and franchise partner relationships. ·To review, coach and develop the team and to ensure all our trainees have a dedicated training programme and/or mentor in place. ·Dealing with customer queries. ·To assist with general housekeeping duties required in the workshop area. ·Provide effective communications with customers ·Supervise your team to ensure quality and high standards of work ·Use the business management tool to effectively plan and process the workflow ·Maintain a safe and secure working environment for all staff ·Ensure digital compliance documents are processed correctly ·Work to achieve the financial targets of the business

Their customer base includes small local operators, national breakdown agencies and large national fleet hauliers. My client pride themselves in specialising in Scania and Walking Floor Trailer products. They insist on a can-do attitude towards meeting customer requirements whilst maintaining a desirable workplace for staff. As a Shift Supervisor, you will join a small but busy and expanding team in a semi-productive role. The ideal candidate will have experience in workshop control, supervisor duties or fleet maintenance management in a commercial vehicle environment. You will need to be an organised individual with effective communication skills with the ability to adapt quickly making key decisions daily. You will need to have a good understanding of OCRS, O-License maintenance obligations and operator compliance.
