Strong Recruitment Group are working on behalf of its client who are well established Mechanical & Electrical Services supplier in South East London. We are currently looking for an Electrical Contracts Manager needed in Sidcup (South East London area) on a 6 month contract. Role: Electrical Contracts Manager with Estimating Experience and Capability. Responsibilities and Duties: Develop good relations with clients and develop repeat business noting this is a key performance indicator in our business model and is critical continued employment. BS 7671 qualified and experienced in all aspects of electrical installation. The delivery of multiple projects and small works simultaneously from inception to final account. Achieve an average turn over sales value of TBA / month totalling to a minimum of TBA per annum. To work directly for and reporting to Director. Retain existing and new clients by delivering high quality reliable service. Work closely with company's Directors, contract managers and engineers, to carry out all aspect's electrical projects and small works. Carry out electrical estimates up to £80,000.00 in value. Achieve pre-determined levels of profit agreed with Directors. Ensure pre - determined profit on all jobs via strict labour & material control. Ensure clients are regularly met and spoken with, to gauge performance feedback, ensuring tasks are completed, emails and phone calls are responded to and advise directors early on opportunities and problems / issues. Ensuring sub-contractors have back-to-back contract with E V Bullen and receive full contractual package including contract, drawings, program, EVB sub contract agreement and that they produce all necessary H&S documentation prior to starting. Have the ability and leadership to inspire and discipline engineers if required. Daily Responsibilities: Meet clients on site regularly to quote, promote works to develop relations and continued business. Agree time limits with engineers for all work and not to exceed committed sales. Prepare a materials lists for purchase department to procure. Carry out value engineering at outset of project to maximise profit. Manage and oversee variation accounts. Manage all aspects of electrical projects and small works from inception to final account, PC and end of defects. Attend pre-tender interviews and associated contract meetings. Achieve maximum profit levels for the company. Required: Good range of IT skills. Proficient in estimating. Good communication skills are key Minimum of 5 years as a Contracts Manager, backed by evidence. Running of projects up to £100K backed by evidence. Willing to travel outside of London and the South East. Located South East London. Up to £300/day, DOE
