What you'll be doing:
1. Troubleshoot problems with equipment and carry out repairs.
2. Complete site documentation before and after work tasks.
3. Supervision of specialist subcontractors.
4. Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task List steps and ensure they are kept valid.
5. Update maintenance task lists.
6. All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
7. Flexibility to work around Maintenance Shutdowns.
8. Participate in Audits of the Air Conditioning plant and follow up on actions.
9. Prepare, compile and manage own quotations and works approvals.
10. Ownership of maintaining plant asset and F-gas register.
11. Stand-by on call rota.
What we're looking for:
1. Recognized trade qualification, City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) or equivalent.
2. Experience in a similar role and good understanding of the basic fundamentals of the various utilities systems.
3. Willingness to expand working knowledge into mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Building Management Systems.
5. Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems.
6. Worked within a Computerised Maintenance Management Work Order system environment.
7. Troubleshooting/repair of electrical systems, related mechanical experience a distinct advantage.
