Registered Veterinary Nurse or Patient Care Assistant!
Our nursing team is looking for an RVN or PCA with equine experience to join us. We are a referral hospital based in Gloucestershire and see a varying caseload ranging from general riding horses to top-level competition horses. With this in mind, no two days are the same!
Although equine experience is a requirement for this role, we are open to providing support and training for the nursing aspects of the role. Our team is well set up to provide in-house training for all required aspects. We also actively encourage CPD, both internal and external. We welcome applications from experienced individuals to complement our team, which has varying levels of experience.
Aspects of the job will include general nursing duties such as, but not limited to, theatre nursing, diagnostic imaging, laboratory work, intensive care & neonate nursing, as well as assisting Veterinary Surgeons in carrying out a range of procedures such as complex dental cases, internal medicine cases, and poor performance examinations.
We are a forward-thinking hospital that takes pride in championing our nursing team and offering opportunities for career progression. We currently have nurses in various positions such as inpatient, surgery, and medicine, providing opportunities for career growth and the utilization of nursing skills.
Our rota consists of varying shift patterns and has an out-of-hours requirement on a rostered basis.
Our team uses CVS Refresh and Wellbeing support to promote a healthy work-life balance and offers an extensive range of benefits. We hope to meet you soon, and to get to know us a little more, you can find us on Facebook and Instagram.
