An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered band 5 nurse to join the Alness School Nursing Team covering the Mid-East Ross geographical area. You will work within the team to provide targeted intervention and support to the most vulnerable school aged children and families in communities, particularly those suffering poverty and inequalities. The role will primarily focus on early intervention in School Years through health promotion and education, adopting the National Practice Model framework to ensure that children and families get the right help at the right time.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are fundamental to the role, as is the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team. A current UK driving licence is also essential for this post as you will be expected to drive efficiently and effectively to meet the operational requirements of the service. Whilst access to a pool car is available, the use of your own car for work purposes is an essential requirement of the post.
