North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust
We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy Health and Justice court pathway. Those in contact with the criminal justice system are far more likely to have unmet health and social care needs than the general population. The Health and Justice team offer multi-vulnerability assessments of those going through the criminal justice system in order to meet unmet needs and ensure that those who make decisions on the criminal justice pathway have enough information to make informed decisions. We are looking for a motivated, organised and dynamic person to join our court pathway. Working in Newcastle-Under-Lyme Justice Centre, alongside a registered practitioner to screen those going through the courts and support offering timely assessments to those who require it. The Navigator will support all aspects of the pathway including offering screening assessments under indirect supervision from the practitioner.
