Main Responsibilities:
* Consistently deliver a profitable & commercial range, ensuring it aligns with our brand and fulfills the needs of the Offspring customer.
* Maximise commercial opportunities and minimise areas of risk by regularly reviewing the performance of each of your brands.
* Pro-actively identify possible areas of commercial risk and recommend, plan and implement appropriate action to minimise impact.
* Have a clear view on Offspring’s position within the market, helping to solidify this with the ranges you’ll deliver whilst also looking at growth opportunities that complement our overarching strategy.
* Develop strong working relationships with all your brands, ensuring you have a thorough knowledge of how they operate and where we sit within their distribution matrix.
* Actively look for new brands that you feel are relevant for Offspring whilst maintaining a relationship with brands that we don’t currently stock.
* Build trend boards for future seasons, identifying key looks and trends that may influence our buying decisions.
* Review and update our consumer muses to ensure we have the most relevant product and brands for our target consumer.
* Present both internally and externally with a clear and confident manner, embodying the Office ethos and values.
* Work with other functions within the business to deliver strong go-to-market seasonal campaigns.

* Ensure all agreed operating standards are adhered to.
* Influence and communicate confidently and effectively to build strong relationships.
* Ability to plan and prioritise for all areas of the job role.

What we are looking for:
* Previous experience as an Assistant Buyer or junior buyer (preferably in footwear) is essential.
* Experience in an omni-channel business is advantageous.
* Strong market knowledge.
* Track record of delivering strong commercial and profitable ranges.
* Proficient in key Microsoft programmes (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
* Display high commercial and market awareness.
* Ability to identify commercially viable products that support and maintain the integrity of the brand.
* Ability to think imaginatively and generate new ideas to benefit the business. Influences and communicates confidently and effectively to build strong relationships.
* Ability to effectively negotiate with others in order to secure a mutually beneficial outcome, whilst maintaining the integrity of the brand.
* Ensure excellent communication and interaction with other departments within Office and understanding of their role within the business.
* Display strong initiative and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
