Job Description
This opportunity sits as part of our growing occupier services team and is based within our central London office within the EMEA Occupancy Planning Team at a large financial services organisation.
Main Responsibilities
* Delivery of strategic occupancy and space planning projects across EMEA portfolio of c. 200,000 sqm.
* Liaise onsite with the client business units when required to design layouts for space reconfigurations and people moves, ensuring that proposals meet all client internal and regulatory standards across both agile and traditional environments.
* Work closely with the moves & changes team, construction teams, cost management teams and other third-party vendors to ensure that plans are delivered on time and with the required level of accuracy.
* Monitor and maintain business occupancy within portfolio, including maintaining accurate stacking plans, to ensure compliance with policy standard.
* Work closely with client to provide 'test fits' and options analyses on potential space acquisitions both within and outside the UK, ensuring that such 'test fits' comply with local standards.
* Liaise with all client business functions (both in the UK and outside) to ensure that space plans, including 'names to desks' are accurate on behalf of the client.
* Provide data to the client on an ongoing basis to aid its real estate strategy reviews and reporting, including desk demand tracking, portfolio utilisation and space efficiency monitoring, etc.
* Ability to manage various space environments (agile working and traditional 1:1).
* Manage the client’s business space demands and review opportunities within the agile working environment as well as traditional space.
* Obtain a full ‘scope of requirements’ for all space related activity covering business as usual to projects to help develop the right space proposal / test fit.
* Provide space proposals, stacking diagrams by location, building, floor etc. based on the client’s business demand and local project activity. Ensure local regulatory standards and building limitations are factored into when producing proposals. Ensure compliance barriers are reviewed and factored into the proposals.
* Develop migration plans and potential sequencing of moves / relocations to business as usual and project related activity.
* Ensure the client Workplace Planning process is followed and maintained at all levels.
* Ensures planning is aligned with the clients Corporate Standards and that all scenarios are shown to maximise best use of space.
* Oversee and manage periodic floor audits (conducted by others) to capture seat assignments, occupancy, vacancy, etc.
Qualifications
Prior experience within a similar space planning position role essential.
* Financial Services and Banking sector experience preferred but not essential.
* Advanced knowledge and ability to use AutoCAD and CAFM systems.
* Great analytical skills with a high degree of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS tools.
* Excellent communicator, with good level of presentation skills who can communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
* Detail-focused and organised with the ability to action tasks in a timely manner that will benefit the end-user and provide an excellent client service.
* A collaborative team player, who is comfortable working across teams.
