With ambitious growth plans, you will play a key role in providing financial insights to support strategic decision making. You will lead and support the production of detailed business plans, conducting detailed financial due diligence for acquisitions, mergers, and buyouts, identifying risks and opportunities. This is key within this role as the founder is about to acquire a new business to add to the portfolio. Requirements Skills & Experience: Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) (essential) MBA is desirable Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in management accounting, ideally in engineering or manufacturing Proven track record of participating in audits, including preparation and management of audit processes. Extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and buyouts, including due diligence and integration. Excellent knowledge of financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel skills. Experience managing financial growth in businesses transitioning from SME to mid-sized operations. Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership qualities and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
