Your new firm
You will be joining a well renowned, leading accountancy firm, who have both regional and national presence, who offer services including accounts, audit, tax, corporate finance, forensics and more. As a firm who have a strong local presence and strong knowledge in the market, they support a portfolio of predominantly SMEs, sole traders and limited companies. Due to continuous internal growth, a senior accounts position has now arisen.
Your new role
As a senior accountant, you will be joining the business services team, reporting into your manager and partner, whilst overseeing juniors beneath you. Day to day duties will consist of overseeing a portfolio of clients, acting as their point of contact and supporting them daily, with the guidance of your manager. You will be forming new relationships whilst maintaining current ones, offering advice to your clients. Other duties will see you producing statutory accounts, whilst reviewing the work of juniors and training them day to day.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4 years experience in practice, working in a similar role. You will need to be a finalist level in your professional qualifications (ACCA or ACA), qualified by experience or a qualified accountant. You will need previous experience preparing statutory accounts and reviewing the work of juniors.
