Main duties of the job Your role (registered EMHP) plays a pivotal role in supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people within educational settings. Your key duties will include: Providing management and clinical supervision to EMHPs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions, upholding safeguarding procedure. Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health initiatives within schools, aligning with local and national policies. Delivering targeted therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and families, focusing on low to moderate mental health issues, using approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based practices. Designing and delivering training sessions for school staff, parents, and other stakeholders on mental health awareness and strategies to support students' well-being. Acting as a key point of contact between schools, health services, and external agencies, providing expert advice on mental health issues and facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Overseeing the collection and analysis of data to measure the effectiveness of interventions and services, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
