Junior Landscape Architect Job in Leeds, West Yorkshire

Your projects will mostly revolve around energy infrastructure, waste, minerals, and commercial schemes. We're looking for someone with solid experience in landscape and visual impact assessments and a flair for feasibility studies.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Work closely with Senior Landscape Architects and Planning team to produce landscape and visual impact appraisals, along with Zone of Theoretical Visibility analysis.
2. Prepare the planning applications and environmental statements.
3. Create plans, illustrative materials, and graphic presentations to complement reports and studies.
4. Report to Seniors and Directors.
5. Undertake landscape design responsibilities, including large-scale master planning, softwork, and mitigation design, while excluding detailed landscape or urban design tasks.
6. Create and present design concepts to clients, planning officers, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
1. 1-2 years of UK experience post qualification.
2. Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and BNS planting design software.
3. Must have a degree in Landscape Architecture.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Must have the right to work in the UK.
6. Understanding of LVIA projects and Landscape Planning.
