We are seeking a Director of Technology to oversee and manage the technical infrastructure, data organisation, and digital platform development across the organisation. In this role, you will ensure smooth IT operations, effective web development collaboration, and robust data management practices. The ideal candidate will have a mix of hands-on technical expertise and the ability to support strategic initiatives related to our digital and data-driven growth.
This position is key to supporting our employees, maintaining secure and reliable systems, and driving enhancements to our digital offerings as we scale. If you’re passionate about solving technical challenges, managing data integrity, and enabling seamless technology for organisational success, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
Web Development and Platform Maintenance
* Collaborate with external digital agencies on website and member portal development.
* Manage and update web assets (content, layout tweaks) to ensure scalability and agility.
* Perform minor coding fixes and quick updates based on evolving business needs.
* Oversee CMS functionality, ensuring streamlined publishing and content management.
Data Organization and Quality Assurance
* Organise, clean, and maintain data across platforms, including HubSpot, Xero, and internal databases.
* Conduct data audits and ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with privacy regulations.
* Develop and manage data warehousing solutions, enabling future AI readiness.
* Ensure robust data backups and manage storage infrastructure for optimal performance.
Digital Growth and Continuous Improvement
* Develop new features or tools aligned with organisational objectives and user needs.
* Support the preparation of data infrastructure for AI-driven applications and advanced analytics.
* Identify and implement enhancements to improve technical workflows and processes.
You should apply if:
We value potential and adaptability over a rigid set of past experiences, focusing on ability, attitude, and aptitude. Education and certifications matter, but we are looking for a team member passionate about our mission and eager to grow with us.
* You have 8+ years of experience in web development, data management, or IT systems administration.
* You have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
* You are proficient in data platforms (HubSpot, Xero), hosting services (Kinsta, Cloudflare), and CMS platforms.
* You have knowledge of data security regulations and best practices for compliance.
* You have strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
* You are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
* 10 days paid sick leave
* Professional development stipend
* Private health insurance
* Access to the CSA member content library, which includes over 80 hours of learning and development.
* International travel opportunities
